When and Where is the Celebration?
Loving Day (June 12 every year) is a day to celebrate interracial relationships.
Or rather, love that sees no color.
My boyfriend and I are in our second year, about to embark upon our third year, of an interracial relationship and are super excited about celebrating this holiday this year, especially since we learned of it after it had already passed last year. Living in Washington, DC and knowing that there are a million walks of people who date people from all walks of life, we thought there would be lots of celebrations, but alas, there are not.
Please plan on joining us and quite a few of our friends in interracial relationships as we celebrate the evening with drinks, laughs and of course, LOVE!!
We will be meeting up with friends at Policy restaurant on 14th St from 5-8 and would LOVE for you to join us!! Please RSVP to let us know if you will be attending, but an RSVP is not completely necessary; it just helps with head count for the section. Feel free to do a last minute drop in!!
Come celebrate this awesome day and if you have any questions, feel free to call either of us at the numbers above!! See you Thursday!!
