When and Where is the Celebration?
Celebration Details
Please join the NYU Biracial and Multiracial Student Association (BAMSA) and Loving Day for an early Loving Day Celebration! There will be free food, and Loving Day will give a presentation and moderate a discussion about race and identity.
Loving Day is named after Loving v. Virginia, the Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial marriage in the United States. It’s an annual tradition that is celebrated by thousands of people in dozens of cities globally as a way to fight racial prejudice through education and to build multicultural community.
