When and Where is the Celebration?
Of Many Colors: Portraits of Multiracial Families includes photographs and interviews with 20 families (children, teens, and adults) who have bridged the racial divide through interracial relationships and/or adoption.
In a world where race is considered by many to be a formidable barrier between people, the families in this traveling exhibit have discovered richness and value in diversity. This exhibit of multiracial families has a great deal to teach about racial identity and racism.
This is the culminating event of MASC's showings of this touring photo-text exhibit created by the award-winning Family Diversity Projects. It will be on display during the Mixed Roots Film & Literary Festival, in the Democracy Lab at the Japanese American National Museum. Bring the whole family!
